Who we are
Dr. Paul Thomas, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in therapy and psychological assessment. He understands that effective therapy should feel purposeful and personalized, never one-size-fits-all. His approach is active, collaborative, and grounded in proven strategies designed to support meaningful, lasting change.
Dr. Thomas works well with those who may have felt stuck in past therapy experiences, as well as those new to therapy who want a clear, down-to-earth starting point. He creates a welcoming and respectful environment for all clients, offering both practical tools and deeper insights tailored to individual goals and values. As part of his commitment to making therapy more accessible, he works to create an environment where anyone, especially those who may not have felt that therapy was “for them,” can feel respected, understood, and engaged in a process that feels practical and relevant to their life.
As a prior U.S. Air Force psychologist, Dr. Thomas is deeply committed to serving active duty service members, veterans, and military families. He brings not only clinical expertise but also lived experience within the military system, offering culturally competent care for those navigating military-related stress, transition, or trauma—including the MEB process and other medical or career transitions.
