Who we are

Psychologist near a lighthouse at sunset, representing therapeutic guidance and clarity.

Dr. Paul Thomas, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in evidence-based therapy and psychological assessment. He understands that effective therapy should feel purposeful and personalized, never one-size-fits-all. His approach is active, collaborative, and grounded in psychological science, aimed at helping clients make real and lasting change.

Dr. Thomas works well with those who may have felt stuck in past therapy experiences, as well as those new to therapy who want a clear, down-to-earth starting point. He creates a welcoming and respectful environment for all clients, offering both practical tools and deeper insights tailored to individual goals and values. As part of his commitment to making therapy more accessible, he works to create an environment where men, who may be less likely to seek therapy, can feel respected, understood, and engaged in a process that feels practical and relevant to their lives.

As a prior U.S. Air Force psychologist, Dr. Thomas is deeply committed to serving active duty service members, veterans, and military families. He brings not only clinical expertise but also lived experience within the military system, offering culturally competent care for those navigating military-related stress, transition, or trauma—including the MEB process and other medical or career transitions.
